1985 – 1999
“Vitulli Racing was set up in 1985 by Italian born John Vitulli. The team competed in various championships on the short ovals all over the country and achieved many championship honours along the way.”
2000
“In 2000 Vitulli Racing branched out into National Circuit racing competing in the Formula First Championship with driver and son Michael Vitulli. Michael was never to finish lower than 6th position throughout the year and ended the season on a high with victory at Mallory Park. This resulted in an excellent 2nd position in the final championship standings, all in what was Vitulli Racings first year at circuit racing.“
2001
“2001 saw Vitulli Racing step up into Formula Ford racing where they competed in the highly rated and competitive Avon Junior Formula Ford Championship.”
2002
“In 2002 the team moved onto the highly competitive National Formula Ford Championship. Both Formula Ford Championships were crucial for the team to acquire the necessary experience required to progress yet further up the single seater categories.”
2003
“For 2003, Vitulli Racing took a year out of competition, although used the year testing and to prepare for the 2004 season which would see the team enter the UK Formula Renault Championship”
2004
“In 2004 Vitulli Racing entered into the UK Formula Renault Championship where upon they showed their potential against far more experienced teams. Towards the end of the year the team were competing with these teams in the midfield positions in what was only Vitulli Racings first year competing in the championship.”
2005
“In 2005 the team encountered drivers with sponsorship difficulties and therefore only testing opportunities arose, with the teams Formula Renault cars.”
2006
Still with Formula Renault, in 2006 Vitulli Racing entered the competitive BARC Formula Renault Championship, with good results during the year with Michael Vitulli at the wheel.
2007
“In 2007 Vitulli Racing took advantage to ensure further development of the team as well as forming close links with drivers through a demanding testing schedule with the teams Formula Renault cars.”
2008
“The team are now focused on continuing their success in the UK Formula Renault Championship for the 2008 season and already the team have begun a testing schedule with hopeful drivers for the 2008 season.”
